Canadian spouse and children under 3 years...
I am a UK citizen applying for a Canadian spousal visa, my wife is a Canadian born in Ontario.
We now have two children under 3 years of age, both were born in UK.
Do I have to include anything further with regards to them, other than completing their details as dependents in form IMM 0008?
I understand that they would already be considered Canadian by having one Canadian parent, should we be applying for Canadian citizenship or anything like that for them separately?
Any thoughts or advice appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi
1. Assuming that your spouse either received her citizenship through birth or naturalization, not descent. Then the children are Canadian citizens. She should be applying for their proof of citizenship: Get proof of citizenship (adults and minors)
2. As the children are CCs, they don't appear in the application IMM 008 only the IMM 5406

There's a FAQ linked in my signature, that answers some questions about how to include and not include Canadian children on your form.

It looks like their Canadian citizenship proof will take about as long to come through as a spousal visa so we'll get going on that at the same time. Cheers for the heads up!
Thank you both.
Thank you both.
