Default Canadian culture

Is there really such a thing as 'Canadian culture'? When was the last
time anyone ate 'Canadian food'?

I have always wondered this.

Feedback?

Clearly since you're in a RoadRunner user in Tampa area, you're just
trolling ... and in lots of newsgroups too ...

It's becoming quite obvious what Canadian culture is, a peaceful society
that's based on the well being of all of it's citizens. Canadian food is a
smorgasbord of what's best in the world, be it bannock, bacon and eggs or
spring rolls.

I'm a Canadian import. Things I've noticed is that Canadian
food consists of potatoes as part of every main course. It
can be in the form of fries, mashed, baked, broasted or boiled
- just as long as it's a potato.

Other than Ronald Reagan announcing that "ketcup" was a
vegetable, ketcup is a staple in the Canadian cruisine.

BBQ is a favored method of meal preparation. Meats should be
first marinated in BBQ sauce. Cuts of choice are T-bone and
Rib Eye.

Milk ala gourmet comes in a bag, avoid container types.

Radish sandwiches on rye with butter and salt. Black radish
is a delicacy.

If in the Toronto area (Mississauga in particular); Marconi's
pizza is the best. They even deliver promptly during the
playoffs when fans are in a Maple Leaf frenzy.

I could go on, but I suspect this is a start.

"Canadian Culture" is just north of "American Culture".

Canadian culture consists of having the buddies over to your Igloo and
having a big ol BBQ of whale blubber, and beaver pelt. It's not the highest
standard of living in the world, but at least I was lucky enough to get an
Igloo that came with broadband internet.

Me too, but I had to go with a satellite dish made out of an old skidoo
windshield, the one I made out of caribou hide kept cracking. I told the wife
she didn't chew the hide long enough.

The same politically correct government that is making Canada a magnet
for Muslim terrorists.

Go **** a Moose Yukon boy. Canada is full of frozen brain faggots who
would be starving if not for American trade and protection of your
backdoor. A bunch of fur trapping moose ****ers. You are just jealous
because all your Canadian women come south in the winter to be ****ed
by real men with real dicks.

So, what is "Snubis"? Arkansas offspring of mother and son? Certainly
"Snubis" inherited every flaw in brains known to mankind!

Yeah, because we all know what American trade and protection did for
your other neighbours, like the Caribbean, Cuba, Mexico...yeah, I know
you don't get it. Don't worry, one day it'll all be over.

Really?

You must be conveniently forgetting about the 25% of your GDP that is
generated by US goods coming north of the 42nd and 49th.

Right?

Get real people. We are inexorably tied together.

Let's get along for a change. This kind of attitude is bad for business.

There are probably as many Muslim terrorists in Canada as there are
WMD in Iraq.

I guess the Bush government and the US army are just too stupid to
find them, then.

Adam.
