Canadian Citizenship application timescale
Hello all,
I will be applying for Canadian Citizenship next month (July 2019) after moving to Canada from the UK as a PR in 2016. If anyone has any recent experiences of applying for Canadian citizenship I would be very interested to her about your experiences - in particular how long the process took - from application submission to citizenship certificate in hand. I have seen the indicative one year timescale on the cic website, but some people I have spoken with have suggested theirs took longer.

There is already a thread in the Immigration section titled: citizenship application timeline - you will get an idea of timelines. However a lot of it is dependent on the IRCC office closest to you and how busy they are

Thank for the information. I just submitted my application so will have to wait and see how long each step takes!
