What does this have to do with immigration?

Good Question. Note that high rent etc., are stated in the article
as reasons. Helps to be aware of the general situation and be prepared.
Use it at your discretion. If you feel it is not useful, ignore it.

It is a good question, but what does it have to do with Immigration to
Canada? If you want to help people I would suggest providing all
information and not something that tells just part of the story(and a very
one sided part). After all, the entire story would make it much more
helpful, wouldn't it?

The positive stories abound and need no repetition. However, this is a genuine link/article from the CBC itself in its own entirity and is provided on an as is where is basis. Individual situations vary and interpreting/using this information is best left to the reader.

Unfortunately no, your target audience does not have the background to be
able to properly interpret an article such as this for the benefit you are
trying for.

He didn't post a valid point. He posted a misleading article because it
does not tell all the facts. Want to talk about poverty? Virtually the
only poverty Canada has is self-inflicted especially when you compare it to
any number of third-world countries where there are people who are starving
to death and can't do anything about it. Its fine to talk about things like
this but if you are going to in a forum such as this then it would be most
beneficial to actually tell the whole story. How's that Dickhead?

And your point is? For a British expat, your English is very poor.
