Anyone on the last leg of PR application please ie just waiting for Med requests either PNP spouse or the slow route?

Looking at current timelines its looking very postive on med request timescales at the moment around 4 or 5 weeks after sending PR application to London ( for PNP that is)

Just wondering if generally British Army applicants are taking any longer due to background checks?

Anyone experienced any lengthy delays when at this stage??

Husband has lived in many many places but for all those over 6 months police certs have been sent including a local RCMP cert ( not the finger print variety) for 6 months and 2 weeks in Med Hat
plus a clear military police check discharge cert etc

Wonder if they do any kind of checks for all the scary places ie Iraq even though tour was under 6 months

Just a bit concerned we could be waiting an eternity if they have to do very in depth background checking
( nothing to hide just concerned about timescales)

my gut feeling is that they shouldnt its not as if he has been on hols to bosnia/ afghanistan or anything which might invite more detailed checks
but would love to hear of other Brit army applicant timescales

I know that Mrs Miggins hubby is ex army.

She sent her Pr app off in late April, got her med requests I think July time then she landed as a PR November this year. Please bear in mind that also over the summer months CIC's are also busy getting the study permits ready for the beginning of the school year so maybe that is what put a slight delay on it.
