according to the letter i got from CIC along with my caips file, u can
make a request under the access to information Act (C$5 fee) or the
Privacy Act (no fees) to CIC. there is also a request form. for FOSS
(information in Canada), u need to provide FOSS ID, for CAIPS, embassy
& visa number is required. i dunno if u have to request ur FOSS file
under Privacy Act, but if that's the case, u need to submit ur
requesst to the local CIC office.
