Hello Mr miller and experts

I would like to get a copy of my CAIPS file. Will that information
give me the full idea of why I am called for interview on so on assuming
that a good interpretation is made with regards to my case. If so, how
long it takes to get the file copy and where should I apply. Pls give
your suggestion.

Yes, properly interpreted CAIPS file with processing officer's notes, all
analyzed together with the entire application package by someone who knows what
s/he is doing will provide such information and more. It takes anywhere from 3
to 6 weeks at present to get printout and I recommend hiring a professional to
assist you as CAIPS alone in hands of someone who has no idea what s/he is
looking at will be rather useless.

you can get CAIPS file from any friend or close relative how is permanent resident or citizen of canada with a fee of $5CAN. OR go to this link http://www.caips.ca/ ...from where you can get file. It is really helpfull to have caips file before going to interview.
In general OTTAWA office will send CAIPS file with in 30 days.
