Hi

Can someone tell me if the Candian embassy, under the current circumstances, would
enact some kind of closure or restraint especially on the immigration cases.

As far as it was already published in the news our Embassy in Islamabad was evacuated
and only the essential staff is left there. It is more than certain that all
immigration related tasks will be on hold there for a while...

You are right Mr. Miller, as my interview was scheduled on Obtober 3 at Canadian High
Commission Islamabad but I recieved call from CHC Islamabad last tuesday that my
interview is postponed. Then I called them yesterday to confirm this cancellation of
interview and the lady there confirmed it and she also said it is not sure about when
my interview will be re scheduled. She said it might take two months, but she did not
give any specifice time frame. This is also the case with US and Australian embassies
in Islamabad as I've confirmed news about these two.
