Buying tobacco online
Hello,
I was wondering if it is possible to purchase tobacco online and have
it shipped to Canada at a cheaper cost than buying them from stores
here in BC?
Thanks.

Re: Buying tobacco online
You coul dbut you would have to pay tax and duty on it at customs and so it
probably wouldn't be cheaper. Also I am fairly sure there are limits on
amounts you can bring in before they consider you a smuggler.
Even in the UK where there is an open border with europe and so technicaly
no limits on what you can bring across the border Customs still impose a
limit and if they think its not for personal use they will confiscate it.
So i doubt you could legally import enough tobacco with the duty and taxes
added to make it worth yoru while.
anyway tobacco is dirt cheap in north america. Come to England and pay say
£4.50=>$6.75US=>$11Canadian for 20 cigarettes.
