Buffalo/Passports Sent/Help

Hello all

I have sent our passports for visa stamping in November.They were received on November 21st.
I haven't received them yet.I sent an e-mail about two weeks ago and they said in line waiting for stamps.Does it usually take that long.It has been a little over a month(including Weekends and Holidays)?

Buffalo run out of visa quota for 2007, your visa will be issued in early 2008.

Why would they have issued a PPR in that case?

So they can start issuing COPR as of the 2nd of January.

So what if someone had invested time and money to come to Buffalo in person as the visa letter normally suggests?

We were talking about mailed applications.

So has anyone received their passport back from Buffalo recently? I sent mine on the 29th of November 2007 and was told today that it would take 2 weeks more.

I received my passports on the 3rd of January.They were received by the consulate on the 21st of November.
