Buffalo office notification
Is there anyone being notified her/his file being transferred to a
partner office in the USA from the Buffalo office in order to expedite
the processing of one's application? How long will it usually take to
complete the processing after receiving the notification? Thank you.

Buffalo transfers files for interviews, those files which do not require
interviews are completed in Buffalo. As you can see a file transfer does
not expedite the process.

Re: Buffalo office notification
Hi,
I was notified by Buffalo that my file will be transferrred to L.A.
where my interview should take place. The original intent of the file
transfer could have been to expedite the process, but I doubt if it's
really happening. From what I heard from my lawyer, I should expect
to have the interview in approx. 10 month from the receipt of the
above notification - so, in my case, it would be sometime around
November 03.

Re: Buffalo office notification
You may be talking about the old info. I do see/read the notification
that the file has been transferred to the partner office to expedite
the processing and the Buffalo will no longer has the applicant's
info. The notification does not mention the interview at all because
the processing has not been completed. At the same time, the e-client
system begins to display the case "In process".
Can anyone tell me how long it will take to get the results after "In
process" info. is available in the e-client system? Thank you.

Re: Buffalo office notification
I received a letter from Buffalo stating that my file was transfered
to L.A. to expedite the process. For the first time I am able to
access the E-client system, and it also just states that my
application is "In process".
The letter does not mention anything about an interview, and it
shouldn't because my file has not been assessed yet.....
Compiler:
I think I am in the same boat as you. (see answer given by Mr. Miller
in a posting last week as to why they transfer it, search "Partner
office for Bufalo March 2002 application?")
What are the dates of your application?
Mine are:
Sent Application : March 25, 2002 (arived to Buffalo April 1st)
1st letter with File No. dated: August 6, 2002
2nd letter with transfer of file to L.A. : May 12, 2003
hoping to hear from them in the next couple of months.
