Hello All,

I'm somebody can advise.

Issue #1 - I'm currently filling out the IMM5710 form. The section: Details of my prospective employer - I presume I put N/A on the form?

If so, what do I put for the dates? Because I can't leave these blank because when I go to upload the document, it won't allow this.

Issue #2 - It asks for Family information form - I don't have any children or spouses etc. Why do I need to fill this out?

Hi, welcome to BE.

1. From the guide "If you chose "Open work permit" or post-graduation work permit no information is required for question: 2,3,4,6,7,8". So you just put N/A.

2. Most visas require that form. You can just put N/A in the spouse & children sections.

Thank you for your speedy response! So selecting "open work permit" is correct for obtaining a BOWP?

For the family information form - I have to fill out the father & mother section even though they're in England? FYI I'm currently in Canada.

Yes, from this page - https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration...rk-permit.html "select “Open Work Permit” as the type of work permit when you complete your work permit application"

And yes, you do have to include their details, no matter where you're applying from. You must have done the same for your PR app, as well as your siblings details if applicable? So this is no different.

Also, in the section "Applicant" - it asks will accompany to canada. Do I just select yes even though its me?
