Hello
I am a british citizen and my husband is a canadian citizen. We are expecting our first child in january.
I am still awaiting my sponsorship application to go through.
If i was to have my child in the uk i know that he/she will be able to get canadian citizenship through my husband but how do i apply for him/her?
Do i have to fill in the form CIT0006 - application for citizenship certificate outside canada? or is there another form?
I am asking this for worse case senario as i willl not be able to travel in 2 months time so if my spousal application comes through then great but if it doesnt then wat?
any advice is greatly appreciated.

Your child will be a Canadian citizen and all you need to do is to apply for proof of Canadian citizenship for her or him.
