Canadian Immig
I dont know abt I.T but Canada 's immigration system is the most pathetic and of substandard quality compared to Australia and New Zealand's even though the Economy of Australia is 50% of Canada and of New Zealand 's is much smaller.

Re: Australia versus Canada
Hey there, watch what you say. If you plan to immigrate somewhere -
wherever it may be - Australia, Canada or US or wherever - remember
immigration is by no means your birth right, in fact it is a privilege
being afforded to you by that nation. Learn to respect the fact that
country is gracious enough to offer you a chance at a better life,
learn to be grateful for that. Attitudes like yours above do not help
at all.
Second, what is the basis for calling the Canadian immigration
"substandard"? It is not exactly toothpaste or candy is it? what do
you mean by "most pathetic and of substandard quality"? If you think
the aussie immigration process is simpler and quicker, that is because
the Australian government have determined it to be suitable to their
needs. Canada's process is lengthy and sometimes arduous - but that is
what Canada has determined to be suited for our needs. You do not get
to pick and choose which rules you live by? This is not a candy store
to mix and match. If you want to come here (or anywhere else for that
matter) the first thing you should learn is to respect the nation and
its laws - the alternative is very simple, just stay where you are!

Re: Australia versus Canada
Canada cannot sustain its population levels and they need cheap labor and
they have high tax rate.
Gasoline costs 74 cents a liter, while you pay only $1.45 for regular
unleaded in USA.
If you wanna make money United States is the Number 1 choice of everybody.

Aaron ,
My comments are not demeaning Canada in any way but the facts about the implementation of the Canadian Immigration System irrespective of the old law or the new IRPA act.
Look at the No of litigations going against the Canadian Immigration Authorities in the Canadian Supreme Court. The no of supposed litigations are covering 7000 Potential Immigrants who were waiting for years. It is really fortunate for canada that persons with your attitude are not in the Canadian Supreme court

By the way read comments by Canadian Journalists like Allan Thompson( http://www.star.ca) for his constant triade against the management of Immigration laws of Canada before posting any comments further in this thread.thank you!

all the industrialized nations can't. some of the other as well. the
following is taken from an article on the latest UN population report:
"The detailed projections for individual countries show 33 countries with
smaller populations in 2050 than today. Japan is expected to be 14 per
cent smaller; Italy 22 per cent; and a slew of eastern European countries,
including Russia and Ukraine, will see their populations crash by between
30 and 50 per cent."
the US is in the same boat that Canada is in. they only maintain their
population size because of immigration.

yeah, and how much do you pay for the same health insurance in the US and
Canada? comparisons which focus on a few factors are skewed at best and an
outright lie at worst.
> If you wanna make money United States is the Number 1 choice of everybody.
money is not everything. i'd rather breathe clean air and drink clean
water while living a comfortable life, than have a fat checking account
and burn through it paying for my chemotherapy.

Ontario is the fourth worst polluter in North America. It doesn't
help that Ontario air is polluted by prevailing winds from Michigan,
Indiana and Illiinois. The air in Canadas most populated cities are
rather dirty (just look at the alarming increase in asthma)
The only reason that our water is so clean is because we have more
fresh water than the rest of the world combined. Although things like
Walkerton (Ecoli poisoning) still happen here.
You want clean air? Clean water? Move to the mid-west USA or to
central canada.
