Hello experts. Let me thank you in advance for your thoughts on this.

Is it possible for a Canadian PR to work 3 days/week in the USA while
s/he lives in Canada (as Canada his/her permanent residence)? Thanks again, JG

p.s. In other words, is it possible for the PR to be absent from Canada
3(24)=72 hours/week while working in the US? (due to shortage of work in one's
field) The person will be commuting back and forth while staying 4 days a week
in Canada.

Yes, it is possible for the purpose of maintaining PR status as you will not be
absent from Canada for more than 183 days in any 12 months period and you will be
maintaining your residence here. Just make sure that you keep all possible evidence
proving days of presence in Canada. Note that such arrangement (4 days in, 3 days
out) will not allow you to accumulate required 1,095 days of residence in 4 years
period for the purpose of citizenship application.
