Dear Mr.Miller,
In one of the discussions , u mentioned,

>Applicants who pass the interview or receive interview >waiver before the
>implementation of new law will be assessed under old law, >all others will have to meet new selection criteria

If i apply as fresh applicant now and if I get 70-75 points, and If i have Interview waiver, will I be assessed under old law ? Will the new point system be effective from June 2002 ?

thanks

Mr. Miller, I am kind of confused on which date the new law has been or will be
implemented. Dec 2001 or June 2002? Could you help clarify? Thanks.

The Minister has stated that she wants the Act and Regulations operational on
28/June/02.

The officially stated target date for new law implementation is June 28, 2002 - but
it may be implemented sooner or later.

If the law is implemented on June 28,2002 and If I apply now as fresh applicant, Should I still get 80 points to qualify or the pass mark of 80 holds good from June 28,2002?

As I already explained to you in my reply to your first question in this thread - you
need to meet new selection criteria if you will not be interviewed or will not
receive interview waiver before the date new law is implemented, period.
