I have question if you could answer. I submited my preliminary immigration file from Islamabad, Pakistan. I got file number in three weeks, but it is been a 18 months I did not get any other letter of status of my case. Can you tell me where I can check the status of my immigration file?

Currently Islamabad is assessing applications in SW class submitted over 5 years ago.

For applications with arranged employment things are getting better, while applicants without arranged employment who applied before Feb 27 2008 will have to wait a lot longer now.

If you applied through Islamabad as Skilled Worker without arranged employment then you will still have to wait another 2 to 4 years, if not much longer, for the update letter.
