Arranged employment points
Hi experts,
I've been working in Canada for almost 2 years on work permit which
was exempted from validation by HRDC (post-doc position). The work
permit is valid for another one year?
Q: Will I be eligible for 10 points under arranged employment factor?
Thanks.

Re: Arranged employment points
It is not so clear under the published regulations and manuals, but I am sure you should have 5 points for having worked in Canada for at least 1 year, which I think it can make you more than 75 points. You must have your PhD (25 points), 4 year work experences (21), fluent English (16) and within maximum age range (10) and at least 5 adaptability points for >1 year working in canada under work permit.

Re: Arranged employment points
I am writing to find ways of making pre-arrange employment in canada.
Please help me find one. I plan to immigrate to Canada to seek greener
pasture.
i am Arnel from the Philippines. I am graduate of a 5-year civil
engineering course from Xavier University, a Jesuit-run institution
here in the Philippines. I
am about to complete my graduate degree in Engineering (Master of
Engineering). I am currently employed as a design engineer,
specifically in structural and construction management. I use StaadPro
release 3.1 as my structural tool, I also use CAD release 2002 as my
drafting tool. I use Microsoft Project 2000 as my construction
management tool. For further details, I am more than willing to send
my resume for your perusal.
many thanks to all...
