Arranged Employment Opinion
Hi,
I have a question. Is an Arranged Employment Opinion issued by HRDC equivalent to HRDC confirmed offer of permanent employment, and does the foreign national applying from outside Canada score 15 pts for this Arranged Employment Opinion? I'm asking because a few days ago I read here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/skilled/qual-5.html in Factor Five: Arranged Employment In Canada that HRDC opinion is suitable only for PR applicants within Canada. Can somebody clarify this matter, plz. |
Arr.Empl. Opinion vs LMO
and 1 more question - what's the difference between Arranged Employment Opinion and Labor Market Opinion.
Thanks in advance for all replies |
Re: Arranged Employment Opinion
first you have find canadian employer to hire you
processing of 'arranged employment' may take at a min 6-8 weeks ( supposing prospective is qualified and no problem) hrdc (foreign employment unit) will mail you or your employer confirmation (validated job offer) visa processing may take another 12 months - 36 months ***china - 6-8 years*** depending on where visa posts by that time you have completed your visa process ( suppose you qualify ) your prospective employer may have hired someone else to fill the position without notifying you. if the visa failed to materialized - the employer wasted time, effort and money in securing validated employment offer suppose visa is issued - if you come over and the immigration office at the port entry may refuse or deny you admission if he/she finds out you no longer have employment in canada.. the present system is HIGHLY flawed...it works for IT applicants, domestic workers or some STAR HOCKEY PLAYERS in Europe - that's about it. correct me if i'm wrong arranged employment may take you at a min 6-8 weeks "just curious" wrote in message news:... > Hi, > I have a question. > Is an Arranged Employment Opinion issued by HRDC equivalent to HRDC > confirmed offer of permanent employment, and does the foreign > national applying from outside Canada score 15 pts for this Arranged > Employment Opinion? > I'm asking because a few days ago I read here > http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/skilled/qual-5.html > in Factor Five: Arranged Employment In Canada > that HRDC opinion is suitable only for PR applicants within Canada. > Can somebody clarify this matter, plz. > -- > Posted via http://britishexpats.com |
Re: Arranged Employment Opinion
Thanx for the reply, I know this HRDC process is not that simple,
but what bothers me, it's the difference tween HRDC Arranged Employment Opinion and HRDC confirmed offer of permanent employment or there's no difference. According to what I've read here http://britishexpats.com/forum/showt...=indeterminate HRDC Opinion is enough for scoring 15 pts for applicants outside Canada under the economic class. |
Re: Arranged Employment Opinion
Skilled Worker Self-Assessment
Your score up to this point is: 60 Factor 5 - Arranged Employment (maximum 10 points) To obtain points for this factor, you must have a permanent job offer in Canada and be capable of and likely to accept and carry out the job. One of the following situations must also apply: 1. you have been working in Canada for at least one year on a temporary work permit and: a) your temporary work permit was confirmed by HRDC, including sectoral confirmations; b) you are currently working in that employment; c) the work permit is valid for at least another 12 months from the date of your application; and d) your employer has made an offer to employ you on an indeterminate basis if the permanent resident visa is issued. OR 2. You have been working in Canada for at least one year on a temporary work permit and: a) your temporary work permit is exempt from HRDC confirmation requirements under an international agreement (i.e. NAFTA, GATS) or as a result of the significant benefit to Canada provision (i.e. intra-company transferee); b) you are currently working in that employment; c) the work permit is valid for at least another 12 months from the date of your application; and d) your employer has made an offer to employ you on an indeterminate basis if the permanent resident visa is issued. OR 3. You do not intend to work in Canada before being issued a permanent resident visa and do not hold a temporary work permit and: a) your employer has made an offer to employ you on an indeterminate basis if the permanent resident visa is issued; and b) your job offer has been confirmed by Human Resources Development Canada (HRDC.) You cannot apply to HRDC yourself. Your potential employer must apply for you. confirmed - validated - job offer I haven't seen 'opinion' or AE opinion "just curious" wrote in message news:... > Thanx for the reply, I know this HRDC process is not that simple, > but what bothers me, it's the difference tween HRDC Arranged > Employment Opinion and HRDC confirmed offer of permanent > employment or there's no difference. > According to what I've read here ]http://britishexpats.com/forum/s- > howthread.php?s=&threadid=103562&highlight=indeter minate > HRDC Opinion is enough for scoring 15 pts for applicants outside Canada > under the economic class. > -- > Posted via http://britishexpats.com |
Re: Arranged Employment Opinion
Confirmed is not the same as validated job offer.
Arranged employment opinion process verifies legitimacy of the employer, fact that such is in business for at least past 12 months and has proven record of employment for at least same period as well that conditions and salary in job offer are sufficient to attract and retain Canadian workers. See here: http://www.hrdc-drhc.gc.ca/hrib/lmd-...arranged.shtml Job offer validation process goes one step further - it requires in addition to the above a proof from employer that despite nationwide and extensive search no Canadian candidate was found for offered position. -- ../..
