Hi, I am a citizen of India and currently on H-1 visa working in USA . I have
recently applied as independent applicant for PR to Canada. I will be asked for my
medicals any time soon. I recently got engaged and my fiance is in India. We are
getting married after a few months from now.

1. What is the best solution, so that both of us can immigrate to Canada at the
same time.
2. At what stage, do I have to delay the process if there is a need to do so.
3. I was planning to start her application process as soon as she lands in the US. In
the meanwhile she can collect all required documents while in India. Is this a
good idea ?

Thanks for your help -BJ.

Fill her application and inform Canada Embassy IMMEDIATELY.

In theory , it won't delay your process since she's dependant. In fact, just some
time you can ignore.

NO. Since you'll get your result soon, it's better to add her as dependent
immediately(Just fill a form only). Later both of you can get medicial examination
form together.
