Which application form?
Hi,
I`m about to embark on the `fun` time of being sponsored by my Girlfriend to live in Canada.
We are going to apply as Conjugal Partners. We are both in the UK at present and she is staying under extended visitor.
There seem to be several types of application kits but I`m unsure as to which one I need. We want to apply from the UK as I hear that this may a quicker way.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Which application form?
you want to use this application form
http://www.cic.gc.ca/englis-
h/applications/fc.html
sponsoring a spouse from outside Canada, make sure you read the guide
carefully because there are slight differences for a citizen residing
outside Canada for instance paying the fees is different because you cant
use the fee receipt form as you arent in Canada so you have to use the bank
draft type option and things like that. But basicaly its the same method as
if she were in Canada and you were in the UK, send it all off to CPC
Missisauga and then they , id they approve her to sponsor, send yoru details
on to CHC London.
If you are gonna apply soon send off for your UK police clearance now
because it can take up to 40 days to arrive, mine took 38 and added an
annoying delay to the process.
