To Applicants from Sydney: Raj and Ejd
G'day Raj and Ejd,
I notice from yogi799 that both of you have applied through Sydney office.
Could you tell me, in what category you are applying under? and why none of you received Initial Assessment, but already being asked to furnish medical and other docs.
Do you have any other things you want to share (from your timeline, I am the most junior!)

even i would be interested in knowing this , as the applications from oz are taking very less time.

Yes. How about you?
Not that speedy. One officer email me that my file will be looked at in May/June 2005. It is also depend on how complicated is your past: education, visited countries, etc. I am expecting a quite long background check...
