AOR? Help!!!

Hello, I have a question. I don't understand what is AOR. Can some one explane it to me? Thank you.

AOR stands for 'Acknowledgement of Receipt'. After submitting your application, it is
the first acknowledgement you (or your lawyer in case you have filed your application
through a lawyer)receive from the visa post. Generally, it takes about 8-12 weeks to
receive the AOR depending on the visa post where you have filed.

Acknowledgement Of Receipt
This is the first communication u get from CHC after applying for Permanent Residency.It suggests that they have received ur application.
