Anyone know?
Can anyone tell me whether the spouse of a student visa holder can own a business? I'm aware that they can apply for an 'open work visa' but is there something similar for the self employed?
Any help appreciated.

Re: Anyone know?
Owning a business has nothing to do with work authorization for as long as owner is
not working in the business in any capacity. If spouse of a foreign student is
granted an open EA then such spouse may work in his/her own business.
