Default Anyone applied in Jan 2002 but still no initial assessment?

I saw some people in this newsgroup who applied in Feb and Mar 02 get
their initial assessments. However, after i received the AOR, I have
got nothing.

Send them a fax with status request. Or a letter with it.

I also applied Jan 02, got on AOR. The e-client started showing "in process"
3 weeks ago. Nothing more.

Hi John,
I applied to Buffalo. Now my e-client account also shows "In Process".
How about you? Where did you apply to? Also, did you request the CAIPS
report?

Thanks

Hi Patrick,

I also applied to Buffalo. I havn't requested the CAIPS report.
But I think I'll ask for the status soon. Please keep us posted for your
progress.

We are currently assessing applications received in February 2002. If
your application was submitted after that date, please do not contact
us for the status of your application. It is in a queue awaiting
assessment.

I applied in March of 2002 and since my AOR I have not heard anything
either. You are not the only one. The consulate seems to be way behind
schedule.
