I am a landed immigrant and I am now in China.
My chinese passport will be expired by 03/31/2004 and I am gonna move
back to Canada by Dec 2003, will there be any issues with my passport
when I re-enter Canada? becasue the remaining valid period of passport
will be only 3 to 4 months by Dec 2003, i remember there might be a rule
to require passport with at least 6 months valid time when entering
canada?
pls help, thanks!

If you are a landed immigrant then your passport need only be valid at the
time of presentation to the officer at the border.

Other countries may well insist on 6 months validity, so if you need
to visit or transit anywhere else on the way to Canada you must check
their rules also.
