Default Albertan PNP

Albertan PNP now requires a copy of all the CIC forms with its application. However we have not yet applied for PR and won't do until we get PNP. To send a copy of the CIC forms (eg IMM 008 etc) we really need to sign them, however we can't really sign them until we want to submit, otherwise they could be signed and dated way before they get submitted.

I have emailed Alberta PNP about the copies of these forms, whether we are really intended to submit them, when we haven't actually applied yet, and they haven't responded in 3 weeks. So we will have to send copies in , what do we do about signature and dates? It seems like a mad chicken and egg situation!!!

We dutifully sent in the signed forms, but see my other thread about the outcome.

You may consider another route.

What concerns me now is that we have just got our police clearance checks and the clock is ticking.

We signed and dated ours, and got the PNP through in about six weeks.

How long ago was that? The stated current process times for PNP are up to 150 working days!

I think we sent all the paperwork in on the 14th of March and got it through on the 23rd of April.

Hi

OH applied for Alberta PNP, complete with all the PR forms and signed (although didn't include photos or police checks) and dated them. They were received 3rd January 08. His employer was contacted with a couple of questions but PNP was granted on 17th March 08. We received confirmation from the PNP people who had also checked the PR forms and gave us advice on incorrect fields (very useful and friendly person, had a couple of conversatins with her myself!). The letter stated that we had to apply for PR by 17th September 08. We completed the application and sent it to CHC London around 18th April, but we can't fly out until 29th August so we're hoping PR is granted before we go, that way we don't need to get a TWP!

Don't hesitate if you need anymore info.

Karen
