Alberta AIT Application Process
Hello guys and girls, just a quick question regarding the Alberta AIT application process. I have been told by my future employer it takes 6 - 8 weeks for mech tech (millwright), I have just spoken to AIT at Calgary and she thinks it is 3 to 4 months minimum.
Has anybody had any experience (recent or not too distant past) with AIT and if so what was the process (time scale etc) and can a company expedite the application?

My only experience is that when calling they just tell you to use the website and have no idea when you ask them if you can find out what can actually translate!
She told me it would be minimum 6 months when I called yesterday, but I don't think she actually understood what I meant!

mine took about 3 months back in 2012.
