AINP delay

AINP delay
Hi,
I received a email notification that my AINP application had been received on February 10th. Mailed it on February 4th.
We haven't heard anything since, all the waiting really sucks. Anyone else having a delay or is it just us?

A delay? I'm confused, why do you think there's been a delay? If your application was only received approx 6 weeks ago, then it'll be a while - minimum 6 months processing time as a rough guide.

You may not receive that for a while yet, so really don't worry. It used to be 6-8 weeks before you'd get a file number anyway, and that was before processing times increased to over 6 months, so there's no delay so far.
