Advice needed urgently
Hi
Can anybody advice me following
One of my mate is working as a cook in restaurant. He has 4 years exp as a cook. Now in Uk studying . He did not have a cook related degree but he has got a higher diploma in Hospitality management from UK and he also got a 4 year degree from uni fron his back home . He did his assessment in CIC website and has got 69 points .
He wants to apply for Canada FSW program . But he is worried that he has not ant related cooking degree. Is it going to be a problem getting PR from CIC.
Please advise us ASAP if anyone know about it .
Thanks
Chris

Thanks
Does it mean he can apply under NOC 6241 cook catagory as he gets 69 points even though he has not got related cook degree as per rule.
Is it wise for him to apply for it
your early advise will be much appreciated
cheers

Yes that is correct - however to actually work as a cook, they may require him to have a related degree - the two things are very different.

Right. And you both happen to share an email address, and an IP address?
