Address if landing before PR
I'm currently being sponsored for PR by my Canadian partner who has recentlty started a job in NS after living with me here in the UK for almost 3 years. The application has just gone in - being processed through London.
When I was over there last week the immigration officials said there would be no problem with me going over to join her after the house was sold here (obviously an unknown time) even if my PR hasn't come through. They even said that they'd probably give me 200 days as a visitor if I asked instead of the usual 6 months.
If this was to happen, what would i do about the mailing adress? Since the application is being processed in London, do I have to have a UK address if I move over to Canada? Or could I use my partner's address in Canada?
I appreciate that if they called me for interview that I would have to return here for that, but am unsure what to do if my address changes..
