Default Adding baby to our PR application

Hello,
My husband and I currently have our PR application in the middle of processing. We have both had medicals and have been sent emails by our processing office. At the end of April we welcomed our baby daughter Freya (born in Canada). We emailed CIC to ask how we go about adding her to our application but their response was a bit confusing.

As far as we can tell, since she was born in Canada, all we need to do is send her birth certificate to the processing office. Is this correct?

The email we got from CIC, went on to say that if the child was born outside Canada forms, photos, birth certificate and fees would be needed.

Now we are worried about delaying the processing our PR application, if we don't send the right/complete information needed. Anyone been through the same and know what we need to do?

Thanks in advance,

Lynsey

1. The child is a Canadian citizen, all you have to send is a copy of the birth certificate. They should have told you to send an amended copy of the IMM 5406 as well.

Awesome thank you for your quick response.

Just to check, we don't have to pay any additional fees?

There are no fees for your Canadian child!
