Activating WHV (BUNAC/IEC) visa
Hi guys,
My current understanding is thus:
If I have one of these visas, I don't have to activate it when going into Canada as a tourist, e.g. to job hunt. I can then flagpole to activate it once I've arranged employment.
If someone could let me know that this is or is not the case, that'd be great

Yes you can do that, Bunac even advise it in their orientation handbook.

No worries.
We did think about doing that ourselves at first but it ended up with us just not having the time.
