Hi there, well finally after 15 months of waiting we have received our passports back from LA with the shiny visas in them
We are thinking of going down to Carway tomorrow to flagpole. ANy experiences regarding this?
We have doen it a couple of times before to extend work permits and seemed OK,suppose it depends who you get on the day?
We thought about going down to Whitefish, but just want to get them done so will probably just do the 2 and half hour drive from Okotoks, and return straight away.
Will have a celebration after the event, whoop whoop.
Will let you know how we get on

Woo hoo just back from a 6 hour round trip to Carway, with our paperwork all done. Very painless,no queue, only a question if we had commited any crimes since our application.
Finally landed,our rollercoaster finally over.
Just can't believe that 3 months ago thought we would be returning to UK as no work permit, no job and now it has all worked out.
Good luck to all still waiting, things do seem to work themselves out, one way or another
