Default 9 Year old and applying for immigrations from within HELP

Hi ya all,

I hope u all can give me some information.

My 9 year old and myself are US citzens and have recently been married and now living in canada with my husband. We have started the application process (Last week got papers) and while talking with immigrations office about Schooling for my daughter i was told that they passed a new law allowed my daighter to go to school, So i contacted the local school board and they stated That immigrations was wrong and they arent accepting forgien students under the age of 16 anyways. So it seems my child is unable to go to school here untill my application is completed which they say can take min 160 days.

Well I thought maybe some people would have some options on how to maybe be able to keep her education going as it seems my only option is home schooling and I dont feel that my teaching is going to be 100% effective.

Is there programs or anything other familys have done to get there children in school fast or help them?

Thank you inadvance for any and all information you are able to shed on this

Visit the school board offices in person. Your child should be able to
attend but you do have to get your application for residence submitted.

No you only have to apply through them, just post the forms to the buffalo
address on the cic web page

>>>read this bit>>>,

and when they tell you have to leave the country and re-enter, to pick up the
study permit, don't believe that either, all the airports are points of entry
so just go to the customs counter at the nearest airport to collect the study
permit. I am in Nov Scotia, so its 600km to drive around to Maine (and 600
back), like the CIC told me I had to, but only 20km to Halifax airport, and I
have the permit tucked into Sebastian's passport from Halifax
