Default 5 points for studying in Canada

Hello,

I am planning to apply for Canadian Permenant resident in the skilled worker catogary.I lived in Canada for four years.During this period I attended Seneca College in Toronto.I registered in 2 year Accounting diploma program. However I finished this program in one year time because I took summer semester and got some subjects exempted.

My question is I totaled 66 points in the point system which is short one point of the reqiuired score. Can I claim 5 points for the period I studied at Seneca College and then become eligable applicant by 71 points or I am not eligible for these 5 points.

I appreciate any helpful advice.

Thanks

No 5 points for adaptibiltiy, requires 2 years of study, not the length of the course see: http://www.cic.gc.ca/manuals-guides/...h/op/op06e.pdf
page 27.
