Re: The 2013 FSW Timeline Club
My application package is now in Memphis, TN, USA.
First it went from leeds/Bradford airport to Newcastle airport, then to Stanstead airport then on to Memphis.
Looks like FedEx are taking it on the scenic route. Knew I should have gone with DHL. Oh well.

Looks like it's made it to Canadian territory anyway!
Don't worry about it, and whether you should have picked DHL - nothing you can do now. Just because DHL quoted better than what FedEx are saying now, doesn't mean they wouldn't have then changed their estimate as FedEx did. Perhaps DHL would have changed to even longer. Just be glad it's away (sounds like before most!), and made it to Canada :-)

Hi, can I Join too???
Our FSW2 application was received on 21/01/2013 and we got PER on 20/02/2013 and we are "in process" at the moment. OH has a job in Calgary. Hope we don't have to wait too long.

BTW, graham1710 and scribe, if you hit the 'report' button (exclamation mark on the left of a post) and tell us what you want done then it brings it to the mods attention. Otherwise we may not see requests to merge threads etc.

Blimey, that's unbelievably quick! When you say 'in process', do you mean Ecas actually says 'we started processing your application on x date'? If so, that's very speedy indeed.

Yep, I'd be very interested to you know what you mean as well Sunryder. If they have indeed started processing at your visa office (see below), what date did they start?
If I log into ECAS, the status on the main page is 'In Process'. If I click that, it takes me to the page with the most recent updates, where it says the date they received my application. I've been advised by others that once it then reaches the top of the pile at the visa processing office (where Sydney sent it after they processed it), then there should be a line added to say they started processing my application on X date. From what I understand, it's basically sitting in a pile at the visa processing office (should be Ottawa for me), and then it'll get to the top and they'll start looking through it. That'll be when I get the next line.
However, I've also been advised that ECAS is very unreliable and could be saying one thing when they're already way past that!
As you can see from my timeline, things have moved very quickly so far, so I'm hoping it keeps up that way. From it being received, my card was charged (for everything, including RPRF) in a week and a half, and we got PER a week later. So it only took about 2 and a half weeks from it being received to them sending PER.
Thanks,
Graham.

Re: The 2012/2013 FSW Timeline Club
Hi,
We applied under FSW2 last May (2012). We sent our application on the 20th. CIC received it the 28th but because we live in the US and we didn't know that Buffalo visa office will be closed on the 29th, the initial visa office name that was put in the application was Buffalo. Then in September we decided to send an email to Ottawa pilot to check if our application was automatically redirected to them and they responded saying that they do have our file and that it is being processed there. But since that date we didn't hear back from them, no medicals, no police certificates, nothing In few days it will be a year now since CIC received our application. Things moved very fast at the beginning and we were so excited to see that. We actually received a PER on June 18th 2012 but now things are being very slow with Ottawa Pilot (at least for our application). We started the process of getting the AEO back in December 2011, so it feels like it is taking forever

Graham1710,
I forgot to thank you for starting this thread, hopefully many more people will join. I don't find much information about FSW2 with similar timelines on this forum and the ones who do have the same timeline are already in Canada most of the time.

Re: The 2012/2013 FSW Timeline Club
Sorry all, was away the weekend!!!
If I click on "in process" it just comes up with the date they received our application, nothing else. But we did receive a PER email from them back in Feb. Our processing office would be London, so not even sure that it has been sent to London yet. I thought that they were supposed to have made a commitment to prioritise applications with approved job offers a lot quicker. A "6 - 9 month" time scale was mentioned somewhere. Must have been in my dreams!!
Waterfall, I know how you feel, we also started the AEO process back in December 2011, but there were issues with the paperwork and that took a while to sort out before we could re-send our application. Basically wasted a year!! And when they said they would shake up the process for FSW2 applications, I was quite chuffed. But..... I suppose I shouldn't complain, we have only been waiting nearly 4 months now.

Good to see some more people joining this one - hopefully it'll continue :-)
Thanks for sharing all. We seem to have slightly different circumstances, but information from others definitely helps and it's a good place to ask questions.
On the arranged employment page, it says most cases are finalised within 11 months - hopefully that's the case! Waterfall - I guess yours being transferred may have complicated things to an extent. Hopefully they'll move quickly for you soon!
Graham.
