Collegues, I was graduated as Bachelor of Education (5 years) then worked as a
manager and commercial director in private firm (4 years), then finished computer
course (2 months), after I worked as computer hardware engineer + system admin + web
master (2,5 years in a private company). Then I started non-profit art center (1 year
as General Director). Now I would like to immigrate as skilled professional in 2147
NOC (hardware engineer). Do I have enough experience to apply and succeed? What
should be stressed in my case? Thanks.

George,

You don't have qualifications required for Hardware Engineer at all. 2 months
computer course may (maybe...) with related experience qualify you as an entry level
computer technician, but not as Hardware Engineer.

1. Education/Training requirements for Hardware Engineers (NOC 2147.1) are:

- Computer hardware engineers require a bachelor's degree in computer engineering,
electrical or electronics engineering or engineering physics.

- Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) by a provincial or territorial
association of professional engineers is sometimes required for employment and to
practice as a computer engineer.

- In Quebec, membership in the professional corporation for engineers is mandatory.

2. Work experience requirements are:

- Plan, design and coordinate the development of computers and related equipment

- Supervise and inspect the installation, modification and testing of computers and
related equipment

- Supervise drafters, technicians, technologists and other engineers.

Your work experience in a small private company in Russia will be also scrutinized -
so, don't even try the Hardware Engineer route, you will be refused.
