10 points for Arranged Employment In Canada
Hi all..
1) I have a valid work permit under category Software Designer.
My work permit is valid from Jan 8, 2003 to Jan 31, 2004.
I am going to apply for PR in end of March or beginning of April.
Is this condition will apply for me?? or not??
Can I get 10 points for Arranged Employment In Canada??
"Your work permit will be valid for 12 or more months after you apply for a
permanent resident visa."
2) I am working under "Information Technology Workers"
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/itw-jobs.html
I don't require to have HRDC approval job offer, but I have it.
On the CIC web site says what Canada need of IT people. As I am working
under that special program, can it help me with PR application??
Thanks to all
Vlad

Your HRDC approval will help, but you will also need a work permit valid for
at lest 12 months beyond the application date (thus you need to get and
submit extension later) and a letter from employer expressing clear
intentions to hire you permanently once you get PR status. And of course
processing officer must like it all and accept.
