**** Amendments to IRPA as tabled ****

Re: **** Amendments to IRPA as tabled ****
well appears that we have a conservative government now - there are not enough seats left undeclared for liberals to overtake them. It is just a question of majority / minority - not that makes any difference to the c-50 impact on immigration.
ho hum - bring on the list.....

Re: **** Amendments to IRPA as tabled ****
Hi Andrew and all other guys,
Does anyone know when exactly the occupations list will be released? I've read that it should be the beginning of November, but I've also heard that the new Parliament will only start working on Nov. 12th. Does it mean that the list will not be disclosed until the end of November? What is the most realistic estimate?
Also, I've heard different rumours regarding applications whose occupations will not be on the list. Will they be returned or just put aside for the slower processing?
Thanks in advance!

I kinda hope Diane Finley keeps her job so she can release the ministerial instruction and occupation-in-demand list in NO TIME!

Re: Latest release from CIC about Backlog
I wonder how much backlog has CIC reduced?????
any guess??
They havent processed any new cases in FSW class (without AE) after feb 27 anyway.

Re: **** Amendments to IRPA as tabled ****
For example the data for Moscow are pretty old. Now they process the most cases in two years... Well, they might have reduced the old backlog, but creadted the new one
Timu12, if the new minister will be appointed, do you think he/she will change immigration priorities? I doubt so, unless they are not really ready now...
