"Decision Made" to "In Process"! What does it mean in case of refused applicati
Hello Experts (Mr. Miller, Jim, James) and others,
Sometime back I have got a refusal letter from Buffalo office saying that I would not meet the requirements of IRPA, as I got only 74 points as against the 75 points.
But the fact was that my case was a transfer case and as per the original date my case should have been assessed as per the new law but with a lower pass mark of 70. Upon getting refusal letter, I have posted the case details on this forum and sought the advise of expert opinion on this matter. I have got responses from the experts (Mr. Miller and Mr. Metcalfe) and other fellow applicants advising me to request visa office for reconsideration of my case on valid reasons stated above.
I have also met a local M.P (Hon. Diane Marleau) and was able to make a representation through her to the honorable minister of Citizenship and Immigration. So far nothing has been heard (it's almost one month since my first request for reconsideration) in written from them. However, all these days I used to check my ECAS and it was showing "Decision Made". To my surprise, today it has changed from "Decision made" to "In Process" again. But, when I click the link it displays the same message that was showing earlier i.e decision has been made and the office will contact you concerning this decision.
My question here is: Does the change from "decision made" to "In process" means a positive move by the visa authorities at Buffalo on my application?
Any feed back on this issue will be greatly appreciated.

First - don't rely too much on e-client.
Second - if it is not just a glitch and it is a real new entry then your
case is most likely being reconsidered. Keep your fingers crossed, good
luck.

Mr Miller,
Thanks for your response and comments. I think that it is a new entry. The reason is: for last one month or so it was showing "decision made", so all of sudden it can't be changed to "in process" on it's own without being modified by the authorities concerned. However, as you said I am not completely relying on ECAS, that's why I am trying to get the feed back from the local M.P office and ensure myself whether the change in status is correct or not.
Ali,
Thanks for your reply and wishing me good luck. Pl let me know about your case, if you hear anything new from Buffalo.
Hi Allen,
M.P stands for Memebr of Parliament (Federal).
Once again thanks for all the responses and comments.
