"Certified" reference letter requested !! ?? Please advise ...
Hello.
As part of additional documents required to be sent after my initial
assessment, I have been asked to submit a "certified reference letter"
from my current employer. Is this exactly the same as the normal
reference letter that one submits with the application in the
beginning of the process ?
I had sent one that met all the requirements (as per the CIC
application forms). Do I simply get and send an updated version of
this reference letter ? Or do I have to try and get it certified by a
notary (if that is possible) ?
I'm completely clueless on this issue. Please help.
Thank you.

When I called to ask what "certified" meant, I was told that
certified=notorized.
Does that help?
Good luck!

G'day, all! In a recent article, Badshah ([email protected])

Nope. If they want a certified/notarised copy, it means they want the
original, and they may want it done in a way that you don't even see it.
The employer does it, gets it certified then puts it in an envelope for you
to take along on interrogation day.
