Default Taking your poultry with you?

I just thought I would pop on this info as I know we have had a nightmare trying to find out how to bring our flock with us.
The Hungarian embassy in London advised that it would't be a problem as long as we had th defra paper work.
We were emailed all the info by contacting email : [email protected] Tel:01228403600 (option 4)
In short it seems that if you are planning to move more than 20 birds, you are in for a headache and they advised that we didn't move more than 20 birds at a time.
It seems in short that you have to have your birds blood tested (waiting for the vet to give me a cost on this ) have to comply with defras moving welfare requirments, stops, water etc and have them checked out and a vet fill in the application form. There is quite a lot to consider and get done but all possible, at a price of course!!!
