Well, it's been such a long time and even my Hungarian wife doesn't remember all the details ...

It's called "Bevándorlás (aka immigrants) és Állampolgárság hivatal" and its address is Mártirok ut 42-44

All the offices are there I remember - you just have to ask, where to go, they know some German at least.

I had to bring my passport and the papers that prove my house ownership and (but I'm not sure there) electricty/gas/water bills to show that the house is occupied.
