More or less what we did, but 20 years ago, - no internet, no estate agents dealing in what we wanted (not many estate agents any way) so we spent 6-8 months looking, writing letters and advertising and eventually found a house with land around it which we bought and then started to convert it into a farm. Fast forward 20 years, having spent much more time and effort (and money) than we ever imagined creating the farm, having put the 2 kids through Uni. we are now sortof set up with what we want - ready to enjoy it in retirement!:regular_smile::regular_smile:
