Rural Hungary

Our children have been researching our village history and having discovered the site of an old manor house and the fact that, during the Ottoman-Habsburg War, a large battle apparently took place in the fields adjacent to our village - they are desperate to try some metal detecting .
Therefore, I was wondering whether anybody had an affordable metal detector for sale or would considering renting or loaning one? Ideally, a Minelab, Whites or Garrett, though anything would be considered. Thanks
