Hi we are in the middle of our house hunting. Can anyone give me info on Nemesgulacs or Kaptalantoti?

You probably know already that both are in a beautiful part of the world being close to Tapolca & Szigliget. I don't know the vilages well but from driving through, there is an old & I think now closed factory at one end of Nemesgulacs. As always check the detail on site near potential properties. There are vllages with better views closeby but these are in a good area.

Thanks John. I think we have decided Kaptalantoti is much nicer. Going to put in an offer and see what happens. It is a beautiful area. We have been to tapolca today which is also a lovely town with all the services we would need..
Our estate agent says there are several English families in the area too.

Hi Cathy, good luck with your offer. I agree that Tapolca is great - & the area round the small warm lake is very beautiful - food at Hotel Gabriella a recommended treat. We are at village nearby but haven't moved over yet.

Cathy Kaptalantoti has large weekly market each Sunday at one end of the village. Great to visit but lots of traffic :-(
