Just bought a property in Budapest. Paid the 10% and the first payment today. Just the final payment to make once they can prove their mortgage is cleared. Im so relieved it has been done, I only went to view the place a week ago.

I did exactly the same as you 10 years ago and did the whole thing within a week. It's very exciting.

The flat is along bihari utca, not a great place but it can be rented out. I had a great property manager who saw through the whole process and even arranged a lawyer for me. Heading back today after a very busy week but im so relieved its done.
