Default EON meter readings

I have been notified that Eon will read my meters for the annual bill but to my knowledge they have not been. I have tried several times to take a photo of the readings on the app on my phone but it is all in Hungarian. Can anyone help to guide me through the phone app. Thank you

Have you tried phoning EON to ask why your meter hasn't been read?

I thought MVM took over or is that only in some areas?

They did in our area - And what a mess they made of the change over!

Whilst we had EON doing the billing if the annual meter reading could not be done (e.g. access problem) then we eventually got an email asking to send a photo to the given email address. What MVM do as yet I don't know.

We had TiGaz and Emaz before we had MVM a couple of years ago. Very smooth handover with no problems whatsoever.

They tried to read mine ( MVM ) but I was out so they sent me an estimated bill which I paid ... they have now sent me a letter saying they will come to read the meters next week ! I photographed the meters and went to the local EON office in town but it seems to be permanently closed now.

We're lucky, we've had the same meter reader for several years and she calls us in advance, to make a mutually agreeable appointment to read the meter at our weekend house. Sometimes my wife calls her to find out when she's going to be around.. She's the same person who reads the meters where we live but we now have a smart meter so don't need it reading.

When you start the app, it will list any 'Diktalas' that are required along with the dates you can do it between. But since my period is closed I cannot see the screens, from memory, it asks you to take a picture of the meter showing the reading and the meter number, a box appears on the view of your camera and you have to get your meter in the box and i think it automatically takes the picture when you have it aligned correctly (maybe you have to push a button but i can't remember), then it will show the picture and you have to confirm you an clearly see the reading and the meter number, After confirm that you have to enter the meter reading i another box press another button, i cant remember if you then push another button to send the reading. They then send you an email confirming your readings.
i hope that helps if you are still trying to diy the reading.

Well curb I got in but there is nothing to enter, its within the reading period so I assume they called when I was out through the open gate but no notice in the postbox that they had called. So I will wait for the bill/credit notice. Thanks for the help.

We haven't had ours read for months but according to my wife something they sent us stated we owe nothing which is probably because we'd previously overpaid. My wife is pretty good at keeping track of the utility bills so we're taking no action until they bill us.
