Re: denistry

We're quite lucky with dentists - my wife & I get our teeth done in Hungary though our 3 kids are on NHS UK - as a nearby village has a great big dentist surgery, 9 of them working out of the same building, on & off of course. My favourite works most afternoons. Otherwise she works in Budapest at no doubt nearly twice the rate!

All private as I don't qualify for NHS, not resident.

I would say the prices are OK but not exactly dirt cheap vs NHS UK (comparing apples with pears!) - and we pay Hungarian prices off the same list. So HUF prices: descaling & cleaning is about 10K, Filling with the nice colour - 10-12K. X-ray - now 4K I think. Root filling with crown fitted after was about 40K last time I had that particular course of treatment, probably the best bargain as it was usually 3-4 visits & the crowns are perfect - sad to say I've had about 3 or 4 now :(

With TAJ I believe all dental treatment for pensioners is free but not cosmetic obviously, had inspections/cleaning/fillings/root canal all free.
